Star economist and Nobel laureate Joseph Stiglitz to speak at WU

In a talk to be held at WU on Sunday, November 29, 2015, Joseph E. Stiglitz, recognized as one of the most distinguished economists in the world, will present his new book, “The Great Divide: Unequal Societies and What We Can Do About Them.” Joseph Stiglitz is Nobel laureate in economics and a professor at Columbia University, New York.

Finding your way around Campus WU - campus.wu.ac.at

“How do I find things or people on campus?” is one of the questions students and visitors often ask about Campus WU. The online GIS search engine "Campus" - campus.wu.ac.at can help. In addition to maps of the campus, the application includes points of interest, the locations of organizational and academic units and individual employees, satellite images, and a routing network to help users navigate from point A to point B efficiently. The application is optimized for desktop and mobile use and compatible with numerous other functions: users can share or download map segments or embed the application into other websites.

Global Executive MBA program on place 44 in the FT ranking

Despite the continuing dominance of Asian MBA providers, the WU Executive Academy’s Global Executive MBA program is up 18 places in the latest FT Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking, coming in at an excellent 44th place. It now ranks 14th in the EU and 4th among German-speaking universities (in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The program achieved excellent results in several key categories again this year.
