Around 150 students will come to WU for the 26th edition of our International Summer UniversityWU this year. The three-week intensive program offers international undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through a variety of highly interactive courses and at the same time enjoy the summer in the beautiful city of Vienna.

WU is pleased to welcome the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) to Campus WU. Starting August 1, the ÖAW’s Vienna Institute of Demography (VID) will be renting offices in WU’s newest department building (D5).

Entrepreneurship is a key skill of the 21st century and is becoming increasingly important for students, alumni, and faculty. WU is strengthening its activities in this field by inaugurating a new competence center dedicated to entrepreneurship on June 1. The main goal of the new WU Entrepreneurship Center will be to sustainably increase the number and quality of start-ups by WU students, alumni, and faculty.
