ENGAGE.EU Annual Conference 2024

A time to connect, engage and innovate.

The ENGAGE.EU Annual Conference serves as the main annual gathering of the ENGAGE.EU Alliance, bringing together students, university staff, researchers, civil society members and local representatives from across Europe to work together to address societal challenges.

The annual event is hosted by a different ENGAGE.EU partner university each year. This year, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business has the honour of hosting the event on its campus.

Welcome

Rector Sausgruber

WU is proud to host the 4th ENGAGE.EU Annual Conference from October 29 to 31, 2024. We look forward to welcoming so many different stakeholders to Campus WU. Together, we will continue to strive to improve the international competitiveness of our institutions, promote European values and strengthen our important network to address societal challenges in Europe and beyond.

In anticipation of the upcoming ENGAGE.EU Annual Conference, let's reflect on the experiences and collaborations built through our events across Europe over the last four years.

How to get around the campus WU?

WU Campus map

Although a bit intimidating at first, getting around the WU campus is fairly easy. If you want to get familiar with the layout of the campus and its buildings, click here or check out the interacive map below.

To plan your routes and look up the location of rooms, you can use the navigation map. In the conference program, you'll see the names of the rooms, which is a combination of letters and numbers, e.g. D3.0.218. "D3" is the name of the building, ".0" shows you that it is on level 0 and ".218" is the name/number of the room. Simply type in the full name in the search box and it will highlight the room. You can also get directions from any address you'll type in. Be careful to always type in the full name of the room you are looking for.

If you want to save or print the campus map you can find a PDF here, but you'll find a map of the campus at both entrances to the campus anyway.
