The self-organized lecture (SOLV) is a course organized from students for students. Each semester we discuss topics that do not get sufficient attention in our regular curriculum.

This semester’s topic is the European Union. You will be introduced to the structure, history, and policies of the EU. Over time you will learn more about selected topics related to the current challenges facing the EU, past and approaching policy decisions, and about the future of the EU in light of the upcoming elections.

The course is structured as a lecture series. Each lecture will feature a different expert to provide an overview of the topic from different perspectives and schools of thought.
