Inhalte der LV:

This course focuses on the business implementation and usage of digital tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, ChatGPT, and other relevant technologies in the accounting field.

Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes):

Students will gain proficiency in utilizing digital tools for accounting purposes and develop an understanding of how digitalization impacts the accounting industry.

Regelung zur Anwesenheit:

This course is a PI course with 80% attendance (for all course sessions in total). Students that do not meet this limit for attendance will not be allowed to pass the course.

Lehr-/Lerndesign:

To foster practical knowledge, students will work on cases involving the use of digital tools in accounting, engaging in both collaborative problem-solving and independent case studies and get the opportunity to present them. Relevant chapters in books and additional material will be announced and partly also provided throughout the course. Additionally, students will explore broader topics in digitalization within the business administration context.

Leistung(en) für eine Beurteilung:

Active participation, 15%

Case study (dashboard and report), 45%

Final exam, 40%
