Following up on the contents of the classes on “Academic Writing” in the first semester, this class delves deeper into academic research methods. More specifically, students will be introduced to qualitative research methods, its assumptions, and its applicability to supply chain management research. |

| Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes): | ||
After completing this course, students have a basic understanding of how research in Supply Chain Management is conducted. They are able to formulate a research question, and understand differences between research methods. Students will gain a deeper understanding of qualitative research methods (e.g., how to conduct and analyze interviews) and how to use qualitative methods in their Master thesis. |
