The course Business Project Management - Group Dr. Silvius-Zuchi - is designed to enhance students' comprehension and proficiency in project management with a focus on Organizational Change by Digital Transformations. The overall objective is to develop project proposals for real world projects. Together with the CIO department of a bigger organization, you will learn how to develop ideas that matters, how to pitch and how to plan in detail digitalization projects. You will experience ups and downs in planning business projects when working in a team, with inputs from the lecturer, and feedbacks from a CIO perspective. Social skills will enhance. |

Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes): | ||
In this course students will: 1. understand and appraise project management approaches and methods; 2. apply theoretical insights in developing project proposals for the CIO department of a bigger organisation. Learn how to develop project ideas that matter, learn how to pitch and gain valuable feedback for your further professional career. |

Regelung zur Anwesenheit: | ||
According to the examination regulation full attendance is intended for a PI. 80% attendance required to pass the course. |

Lehr-/Lerndesign: | ||
Students who enroll in this course can expect a comprehensive theoretical and practical foundation in the following areas: (1) formulation of industry-focused project proposals for management boards, (2) customized feedback on designing and proposing projects, and (3) gaining deeper insights into transforming established businesses through the utilization of IT. To effectively participate in this course, students should have a general understanding of digital technologies. While this course is not centered around programming or technical skills, it is specifically tailored for students aspiring to pursue management careers where technology plays a vital role. Though, the focus of the course will stay on project management. The skills acquired through active engagement and immersion in the course materials and workshops can be applied to a wide range of job positions related to the digital transformation of companies, such as Digital Transformation Manager, Change Management Specialist, IT Consultant, and Digital Business Manager.
