Following up on the contents of the classes on “Academic Writing” in the first semester, this class delves deeper into academic research methods. Specific methods and their applications are explained in detail, i.e.
We will employ tools such as Excel, R, Vensim, and DEAOS.

| Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes): | ||
After completion of this course, students have a basic understanding of how research in Supply Chain Management is conducted. They are able to formulate a research question, and recognize the existence of different research methods. Students will gain a detailed understanding of selected quantitative research methods, become familiar with supporting computational tools, and be able to apply those in relevant problem settings. |
