In the bachelor program "Business, Economics and Social Sciences", the specialized branch of study "Business Information Systems (BIS)" is mainly offered for the branch "Business Informatics".
Students of the degree program "Business Informatics" must complete the following "Business Informatics (WI-CBK)" courses according to the curriculum: "Grundzüge der Programmierung", "Grundzüge der Modellierung", "Rechnerpraktikum aus Programmierung", "Netzwerke", "Netzwerksicherheit", "Datenbanksysteme", "IS-Projektmanagement", "Prozessmanagement".
In consultation with the VR Teaching and Studying and the ÖH-WU, starting in the summer semester 2016, entry into the SBWL Business Information Systems (BIS) will be carried out according to the following transparent rules:
- "Entry into the SBWL: Business Informatics", LV-Nr. 927, in the period from 23.08. register until 03.09.2023,
- All students enrolled in this entry-level corporation are brought in the following order by the VR teaching staff and students (VRLS):
- a group of 20 students who are considered to be objective hardship cases,
- all undergraduate students of Business Informatics are ranked by number of completed WI-CBK-LVs in descending order,
- all students without WI-CBK-LVs, where the order of registration applies ("first-come-first-serve").
- The first 120 students from this ranked list of the ET "Access to Specialization: Business Information Systems" receive the status "mit Erfolg teilgenommen". Students who don't receive the status and an e-mail, are not accepted.
This ranking and the registration for the first 120 ranked students will probably take place until 13.09.2023!
