Inhalte der LV:

This course explores the importance of communicating effectively in business. Focusing on presentations intended to inform and persuade audiences, we will discuss ways in which presentations can be made clear, effective and persuasive. The course deals not only with verbal communication, but also covers important aspects of nonverbal communication (such as body language).
Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes):

Students will learn how to

  • develop a thorough understanding of effective communication,
  • prepare and make effective presentations that inform the audience and/or persuade them to act,
  • identify critical aspects of nonverbal communication,
  • use media professionally,
  • develop the analytical skills required to evaluate presentations and give feedback.
Regelung zur Anwesenheit:

Attendance is 100% compulsory in the workshop. If you arrive late you lose your place without refund of the deposit.

  • video analysis
Leistung(en) für eine Beurteilung:
  • 30 %: active participation in the exercises during the class
  • 20 %: participation in discussions and reflections during the class
  • 30 %: presentation
  • 20 %: written reflection on the learning success

Attention:

A deposit of Euro 30 must be paid for this course; the amount must be received in our account no later than 2 days after registration. If you do not pay the deposit on time, you will automatically be deregistered from the course.
