Inhalte der LV:

The course Future Trends in International Business will discuss the following topics:

Guidelines for identifying trends in international business

Basic guidelines on how to categorize different kinds of trends

Guidelines for working with trends in a business environment

Lernergebnisse (Learning Outcomes):
After having participated in the course, the students will:

Know about the most important international platforms suitable for identifying trends

Be able to use proper techniques for identifying and analyzing trends

Be able to separate interesting from relevant trends

Deal with the topic of trends from an international business perspectiv

Have heard about the most current trends suitable for business


Regelung zur Anwesenheit:

Please note that the first and last sessions/days are mandatory. If you do not attend the first session, you will be de-registered from the course. In order to obtain a grade for the course, students must attend at least 80% of the course. An absence of 4 hours  (1 session)  is  permitted. 

Lehr-/Lerndesign:

The course´s main format is class discussion and case studies.

 

Lectures on different topics are given by guest speakers

Two group assignments and presentations have to be prepared and held by students

Leistung(en) für eine Beurteilung:
Students will be evaluated on the basis of:

 Presentations of group work (60%)

 Peer review (15%)

 Participation in class (25%)
