Welcome Center

WU’s increasing internationalization would be impossible without the active participation of international staff and researchers who are a driving force behind our internationalization efforts.
The WU WELCOME CENTER is the university's central service point for WU's international and visiting faculty. We assist newly appointed professors, visiting professors, guest researchers and lecturers and international university staff.

We provide first-hand information for planning and preparing your stay at WU and in Vienna. The Welcome Center gives advice on all non-academic matters, assists in acquiring appropriate accomodation, and supports visa applications for mid term or long term stays. We are your partner for any questions and concerns about Austrian daily life.

Prior to Arrival

Upon Arrival

- Welcome Meeting at the International Office (per request)

- How to get your guest card for WU library, E-Mail-Account and wi-fi access at WU
- Guided tour at WU (per request)

During your stay
