Abstract: The currently existing and observed technical trends do have the potential to dramatically change the way how we are working and the businesses we are working in. It is in the responsibility of every leadership team to evaluate those trends. It is about verifying their impact on the organization and using them to shape the desired future. This, while considering the status-quo, the implications of different speeds, adaptiveness as well as an enhanced digital dexterity.

Profile: Marcus Frantz studied Business Administration at the universities of Konstanz and Trier in Germany. After his studies, he acted as Experienced Manager and Senior Advisor at different international consulting companies. He joined OMV in 2004 as Head of PMO (Project Management Office) at Service Network OMV. Other positions Marcus Frantz has held during his career at Global Solutions include Head of Business Applications, Head of Mid- & Downstream Applications, Head of Infrastructure and, most recently, Head of the Business Unit IT at Global Solutions in Vienna. Since 01.01.2013 he is OMV Group CIO.
