DIBT Doctorate Workshop on Improving Tax Compliance in a Globalized World
PhD candidates are invited to participate in the DIBT Doctorate Workshop related to the conference “Improving Tax Compliance in a Globalized World”. The Doctorate Workshop will be held in Rust, Burgenland, on Thursday June 30, 2016, from 14:00 to 18:00 and will be organized by the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law Vienna in cooperation with the Doctoral Program for International Business Taxation and the WU Global Tax Policy Center, with friendly support of Christian Doppler Research Association and the International Fiscal Association (IFA), Austrian Branch (Wolfgang Gassner Research Fund for International Tax Law).

After each presentation one of the DIBT collegiates will comment on the PhD project of the speaker (from the point of view of his or her discipline). Then the project will be discussed amongst the students and professors who are already present in Rust.

If you know someone else who might be in the target group and might be interested in applying, please spread the word and encourage him/her to apply!
The application process is competitive, and those who are selected by the committee will be admitted to participate in the doctorate workshop and the conference for free. In exceptional circumstances, financial support for travel and/or accommodation could be possible (but has to be negotiated individually). Please read more about the conference HERE.
