26.-28.09.2022 Seminar "Tax Data Analytics and Compliance"
This 3-day seminar (which will be held entirely in English) is organized by the WU Tax Law Technology Center at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and will take place in Vienna on September 26-28, 2022.
The digitization that has been progressing for years and the essential importance of tax data for national and international compliance purposes, but also for purposes of digitization of the tax function itself, makes it imperative, that tax functions deal with the topic of "tax data" as early as possible.
The aim of this practical seminar is to provide a comprehensive and practical overview of this topic "Tax Data Analytics and Compliance", starting with the basics of data analysis (data quality, data models, data acquisition methods), extensive practical data analysis examples, process-related data analysis (Process Mining technology), fully automated tax compliance monitoring, up to the compliance-relevant aspects of "Data retention management” (e.g. system migration and archiving).
In this seminar, the ERP system is not relevant (whether SAP or Navision, Oracle or Infor, etc.). Instead, the focus is on the various technologies for data analysis, and on the data process that ultimately leads to the tax assessment and accounting recording.
This seminar is open to professionals and academics from around the world who want to broaden their knowledge of tax law technology.
