A) Participation fee schemes 2020

Since the ISUWU program will take place in a distance-learning format in summer 2020, students are not expected to pay a program fee. Depending on applicants' status different tuition fee schemes apply.

B) Payment methods

Selected applicants will receive an acceptance letter via email with detailed information about the applicable participation fee and the payment process. There are two payment options:

  1. via bank transfer to WU's bank account within one week of receiving the acceptance email (all information on this option can be found in the acceptance email). WU asks all participants to send a payment confirmation (e.g. payment slip) within one week to the ISUWU program manager (sarina.eckhard-gludovatz@wu.ac.at) Due to safety reasons (online data piracy), WU recommends this payment form.

  2. via credit card by making an online payment within one week of receiving the acceptance email (you will receive the payment link in your acceptance email). WU accepts credit card payments from card-holders of the following credit card companies: Master Card, VISA, Diners Club and American Express. Please be aware that submitting your personal and credit card data online is on your own risk – possible risk factors: data transfer, data loss, piracy.

Your spot in the ISUWU program is only guaranteed once we receive your payment. If one week has passed and no confirmation of transfer has reached WU, the spot on the program will be offered to other interested applicants.

Please note: The fee must be paid free of any bank charges borne by the recipient. Please make sure to pay any transaction fees your bank or WU's bank may charge. If you fail to cover any bank charges, you will be asked to pay the missing amount via bank transfer.

All participants will be informed by email once their fee has reached the university's bank account. Please note that international bank transfers may take up to 2 weeks and credit card payment procedures may take up to 8 weeks.

C) Cancellation fee

If a student cancels his or her participation less than 15 days before the beginning of the course, no refund will be possible.

If a student nominated by a partner university as part of our exchange agreement cancels his or her participation less than 15 days before the beginning of the course, the student would still count toward our general exchange balance.

Please note that the recipient will be responsible for paying any transfer fees that may arise from a cancellation and subsequent request for a refund.
