FAQs Social Program
Are there any social activities during the ISU WU program?
The ISUWU team organized a variety of cultural and social activities. These activities give participants the opportunity to gain insights into the old and new life in Vienna and Austria and get to know their fellow students. The social program is a mix of social, cultural and international events. Activities may for instance include guided tours of world-famous museums like the "Albertina", the opera house or a visit to a traditional Viennese "Heuriger", where students can experience the unique atmosphere of a typical Austrian wine tavern.

Will I have to pay to take part in social activities?
It depends on the type of social activity. For instance, a city tour of Vienna is organized for all ISUWU students free of charge. For other activities such as visits to museums or the like, students must pay the admission fees (usually 5 - 12 EUR) themselves.
What is the International Cultural Evening?
An "International Cultural Evening" will be held during the program. This event gives participants an opportunity to present their home country to their fellow students by preparing a typical national dish, giving a presentation or performing a dance, so that all participants not only get an impression of Austrian culture but also of the different countries represented by the students. There are no limits to creativity!
