THEMIS represents a network of top universities in the area of business law. It is a certificate program with a focus on business law and international law, organized by the International Legal Network of Excellence.
The program includes three elements: an exchange semester, an internship, and a seminar. Students who successfully complete these three elements receive the program’s Joint Certificate in International and Business Law.

Once WU has been notified of your nomination, you will receive a welcome email with the most important information you need to prepare for your stay at WU. You will also get information on our Orientation and Cultural Program and pre-semester German language courses, the course registration process, and accommodation in Vienna.

How can I find appropriate housing in Vienna?
Incoming THEMIS students can apply for a place in a student residence hall provided by the OeAD (Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research), look for accommodation online on the Housing Anywhere platform, or seek private accommodation. How can I find an internship in Austria?
The WU ZBP Career Center supports students and graduates in entering professional life and forms an interface between university and labor market. The ZBP offers an overview of internships and jobs through an online portal. No guarantee for internship allocation can be made. Students must be fluent in German in order to work in Austria.
