ENGAGE.EU Online Exchange Initiative

Der Inhalt dieser Seite ist aktuell nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

Together with its partners in the ENGAGE.EU alliance, WU Vienna launched an online exchange initiative. Students can apply for a range of online courses offered by participating universities.

  • You will be part of a virtual and international classroom. Benefit from international learning opportunities and exchange ideas with students from different countries!

Course offer and application

For details on the courses offer, the application process, and additional information, please refer to the factsheets of the partner universities. If you are a WU student and  interested in attending online courses at one of our partner institutions, you can apply during the application period mentioned in the respective factsheet.

The factsheets of participating universites in summer semester 2021 are available here.

Credit Transfer

At the end of your virtual exchange, you will receive an official transcript of records which you will need for the credit transfer process at WU.

On bachelor's level, credits from completed online courses can be transferred to your WU degree as a free elective. For students majoring in International Business Administration (IBW), business-related courses are eligible for the IBW international experience and business courses worth at least 4 ECTS credits can also be transferred as international courses. If you want to transfer your credits, note that the online course needs to be graded and that a pass/fail is not sufficient!

For all other credit transfers on bachelor’s and master’s level, please contact our colleagues at the Study Service Center: course.abroad@wu.ac.at. When contacting them, include a course description and name the WU study plan item you wish the credits to be transferred to.
