SMU Summer Program
The SMU Global Summer Programme (GSP) 2020 is a four-week short program taking place in Singapore. Application, selection and nomination are organized by WU. The partner university, the Singapore Management University (SMU) is in charge of the overall program and organization.

Duration: 4 weeks
Program dates: June 29 - July 24, 2020 (Orientation and official start on Monday, June 29, 2020!)
Participants: 4 WU-students and other international students
Recognition: The SMU GSP 2020 can be recognized as 2 regular business courses at WU worth 8 ECTS credits, given that the course was completed successfully. For course transfer options please contact email@example.com.
IBW International experience: 8 ECTS credits earned at the SMU GSP 2020 can be confirmed as part of "IBW International experience" (IBW-Auslandserfahrung) in the international business administration major (IBW) if courses are completed successfully.
Topic area: Various disciplines focusing on Asia and Asian insights.
SMU GSP 2020 Online registration deadline: April 19, 2020 (relevant for already nominated WU students)
The SMU GSP academic program will be held in English. WU students may select 2 courses (one per cluster) of their own choice to attend (information is subject to change):

English Language Prerequisite
English is the language of instruction at SMU. If English is not the main language of instruction (enrollment in WU's English taught BBE program), successful completion of EBC 1* or following IELTS/TOEFL scores are required:
Paper-based TOEFL: 550
Internet-based TOEFL: 79
International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS): 6.5
* If you completed the EBC 1 (Wirtschaftskommunikation I Englisch) course at WU, the International Office can issue an EBC certificate for your application.
The program fee consists of the following positions:

*Miscellaneous fees include local medical insurance, IT and matriculation
Not included are: flights, transfers, meals, accommodation, vaccinations, additional expenses on-site, visa fees and travel insurance. Students are advised to get their own travel insurance before program start.
