The Tongji SEM-WU Joint ISU China is a three-week program in cooperation with Tongji University, School of Economics and Management, which takes place in Shanghai, China.

Participants: max. 20 WU-students as well as students from Tongji University partner universities
Recognition: The Joint ISU China can be recognized as 2 regular courses at WU worth 8 ECTS credits, given that the courses were completed successfully. Course transfer options can be found in the ISU China 2019 Fact Sheet.
IBW International experience: The ECTS credits earned at the Joint ISU China can be confirmed as part of "IBW International experience" (IBW-Auslandserfahrung) in the international business administration major (IBW) if courses are completed successfully.
The Joint ISU China academic program language is English.
Course Topic: Doing Business in China and International Strategies in Emerging Markets
Course description: Tongji University is responsible for the academic program of week 1, WU is responsible for week 2 and 3. The main objective of the courses offered at Joint ISU China is to prepare students for the management of cross-border business activities originating from and going towards emerging markets. Students develop a profound understanding of emerging markets – China is our host country during the Joint ISU and one of the most significant emerging markets in international business. The program fee for the Joint ISU China 2019 is € 1,455.
This fee includes:
