Participants: max. 20 WU-students as well as students from UniSA
Recognition: The Joint ISU Australia can be recognized as 2 regular courses at WU worth 8 ECTS credits, given that the courses were completed successfully. Course transfer options will be published later on.
IBW International experience: The ECTS credits earned at the Joint ISU Australia can be confirmed as part of "IBW International experience" (IBW-Auslandserfahrung) in the international business administration major (IBW) if courses are completed successfully.
The Joint ISU Australia's academic program language is English.
Course Topic: Managing People in a Global Context
Course description: This Joint ISU applies contemporary theory and research in IHRM (International Human Resource Management) and leadership to issues arising in organizations from globalization, increased competition and related societal changes. At the end of the program, participants will leave with a strong sense of what business expects from human resource management professionals and international business managers and equips participants with practical tools to use to impact strategic people management in modern organizations.
Methods: lectures, discussions, case studies, project work in international groups, in-class group presentations.
