Genos­sen­schafts­ta­gung IGT 2016

Die 18. Inter­na­tio­nale Genos­sen­schafts­wis­sen­schaft­liche Tagung fand vom 14. bis 16. September 2016 in Luzern an der Univer­sität Luzern statt. Über 1.000 Teil­neh­me­rinnen und Teil­nehmer beschäf­tigten sich drei Tage lang in Luzern mit Fragen zum Genos­sen­schafts­wesen. Mit dabei waren auch Dietmar Rößl, Stefan Rada­ko­vics und Martina Pieper­hoff vom FI für Koope­ra­tionen und Genos­sen­schaften sowie Katie Hyslop vom Institut für KMU-­Ma­nage­ment. Der Kongress folgte dem Leit­motiv "Iden­tität und Wachstum".

3. Inter­na­tio­naler Genos­sen­schafts­gipfel

„The Power to Act“ war das Motto des 3. Inter­na­tio­nalen Genos­sen­schafts­gip­fels, der von 11. bis 13. Oktober 2016 im kana­di­schen Québec über die Bühne ging. Die Präsi­dentin der Inter­na­tional Co-ope­ra­tive Alli­ance, Monique Leroux, begrüßte dabei rund 3.000 Teil­nehmer aus 116 Ländern.

Im wissen­schaft­li­chen Tagungs­teil war das Forschungs­in­stitut für Koope­ra­tionen und Genos­sen­schaften mit dem Vortrag „A Trust and Recipro­city based Perspec­tive on Gover­nance Mecha­nism in Coope­ra­tives“ (Pieper­hoff/Hyslop/Roessl) durch Martina Pieper­hoff vertreten.

Dieser Beitrag geht der Frage nach, über welche Mecha­nismen die verschie­denen Genos­sen­schaft­s­typen koor­di­niert werden. Dabei wird klar unter­schieden zwischen förder­wirt­schaft­li­chen Genos­sen­schaften, die von Mitglie­dern gesteuert im Inter­esse der Mitglieder agieren und auf deren Nutzen abzielen, und Sozi­al­ge­nos­sen­schaften, die auf den Nutzen Dritter abzielen. Bei ersteren kann aufgrund der zu erwar­tenden Vorteile auf ein verein­ba­rungs­ge­mäßes Verhalten der Mitglieder vertraut werden. Hingegen muss für ein verein­ba­rungs­ge­mäßes Verhalten der Mitglieder in Sozi­al­ge­nos­sen­schaften auf gesell­schaft­lich veran­kerte Normen zurück­ge­griffen werden. Die Frage, wie es trotz Fehlens von Hier­ar­chie und von indi­vi­du­ellen Vorteilen zu Zusam­men­schlüssen in der Form von Sozi­al­ge­nos­sen­schaften oder – rechts­for­mun­ab­hängig – von Social Enter­prises kommt, kann die Forschung noch nicht schlüssig beant­worten.

Inter­na­tional Confe­rence on Advan­tages and Capa­ci­ties of Coope­ra­tives in Economic and Social Deve­lop­ment

This Confe­rence was held in Teheran, Iran, from October 04.-05, 2015. Dietmar Rößl presented the paper „Coope­ra­tives in Austria – Struc­tures, Deve­lop­ment Paths and Successful Cases“

EMNet 2015

The 7th Inter­na­tional Confe­rence on Econo­mics and Manage­ment of Networks took place from December 03-05 in Cape Town, South Africa. There, the paper authored by Rößl, D., Hyslop, K. and Pieper­hoff, M. „Coope­ra­tive Prin­ci­ples in the Image of Coope­ra­tives: Results from an Empi­rical Study in Austria“ was presented.

ICA Rese­arch Confe­rence 2015

The Rese­arch Confe­rence 2015 of the Inter­na­tional Co-ope­ra­tive Alli­ance took place from November 08-10 in Antalya, Turkey. There, the paper authored by Rößl, D., Rada­ko­vics, St., Thiemer, M. and Hyslop, K. „The Employees’ Awareness of Co-ope­ra­tive Prin­ci­ples“ was presented.

CIRIEC 2013

The 4th CIRIEC Inter­na­tional Rese­arch Confe­rence on Social Economy took place from October 24-26 in Antwerp, Belgium. Isabella Hatak presented the paper co-aut­hored by Dietmar Rößl „CSR in Coope­ra­tive Banks: Gene­ra­ting Value for Members as Internal Stake­hol­ders“.

The Rese­arch Confe­rence 2012 of the Inter­na­tional Co-ope­ra­tive Alli­ance took place from June 21-22, in Wellington, New Zealand. There the paper authored by Hatak, I., Lang, R. and Rößl, D. „Beha­vioural Coor­di­na­tion within Coope­ra­tives“ was presented.

Inter­na­tio­nale Genos­sen­schaft­liche Tagung

Die XVII. Inter­na­tio­nale Genos­sen­schafts­wis­sen­schaft­liche Tagung (IGT) der Arbeits­ge­mein­schaft Genos­sen­schafts­wis­sen­schaft­li­cher Insti­tute fand vonm 18-20 September 2012 in Wien an der Univer­sität Wien statt. Orga­ni­siert wurde die Tagung vom Fach­be­reich Genos­sen­schafts­wesen im Institut für Betriebs­wirt­schafts­lehre der Univer­sität Wien (Prof. Dr. Johann Brazda) in Koope­ra­tion mit dem Forschungs­in­stitut für Koope­ra­tionen und Genos­sen­schaften der Wirt­schafts­uni­ver­sität Wien (Prof. Dr. Dietmar Rößl). In drei Tagen wurden 27 Work­shops abge­halten, wobei Wissen­schaftler und Wissen­schaft­le­rinnen aus über 30 Ländern teil­nahmen. Als beson­deres High­light wurde Herrn Prof. Dr. Hans-H. Münkner im fest­li­chen Rahmen des Wiener Rathauses der Inter­na­tio­nale Wissen­schafts­preise der AGI für sein Lebens­werk über­r­eicht.

Die RiCC-­For­scherin Dr. Isabella Hatak präs­en­tierte ihren Beitrag „CSR in Kredit­ge­nos­sen­schaften: Wert für Mitglieder?“ und RiCC-­For­scherin Mag. Elisa­beth Reiner war mit ihrem Vortrag zum Thema „Welche Bedürf­nisse haben Frei­be­rufler/innen an die Rechts­form ihrer Orga­ni­sa­tion – eine neue Chance für die Genos­sen­schaft? Empi­ri­sche Ergeb­nisse“ vertreten.

Final confe­rence - SCE project

On October 5th 2010 the final confe­rence of the SCE project took place in Brus­sels/Belgium. Elisa­beth Reiner (RiCC) parti­ci­pated the confe­rence where the final report was presented to the Euro­pean Commis­sion and an inte­rested public. The national report for Austria will be released soon as a RICC Working Paper.
