Teaching and Learning in International Classrooms

Tuesday, September 28, 2021

14.00 – 16.30 p.m.

Campus: Ceremonial Hall 1, WU, Building LC

Online: MSTeams

Students as well as lecturers come to WU with very different cultural and educational backgrounds. In international courses, teachers encounter the heterogeneity of students, their different needs and requirements on a daily basis. Which teaching and learning concepts are suitable for internationally composed groups? How to create the best learning environment for all students – always bearing in mind the diversity in levels of engagement and expectations of students with different cultural and educational backgrounds? Which didactic teaching methods are particularly effective in international courses? Let’s discuss what we can do to make the international classroom a success.
