John Price is a Teaching and Research Associate and PhD candidate at the Institute for Marketing & Consumer Research. He is primarily interested in how culture, geography, history and language affect consumer behaviour. He is conducting research currently on locavorism, the consumption of foods produced locally. At the moment, this research is focused on the effects of geographical borders on locavorism.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in German at Georgia Southern University, an International Master of Business Administration at the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Oregon. John is passionate about teaching and has been teaching in higher education since 2004.
