Pos­i­tion at IIB, other pos­i­tions and aca­demic ca­reer

Marius joined the In­sti­tute for In­ter­na­tional Busi­ness as a re­search and teach­ing as­so­ci­ate in Janu­ary 2018. He is a CEMS gradu­ate from Vi­enna Uni­versity of Eco­nom­ics and Busi­ness and the Nor­we­gian School of Eco­nom­ics. Be­fore that, Marius earned his Bach­elor's de­gree in Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion from the Uni­versity of Man­nheim and spent one semester in South Korea at the Korea Uni­versity Busi­ness School.

Dur­ing his stud­ies, Marius has gained sig­ni­fic­ant in­ter­na­tional and prac­tical ex­per­i­ence in con­sult­ing, the auto­mot­ive and the trans­port­a­tion in­dustry while work­ing for EY, Daimler AG and Fra­port AG. He also com­pleted in­tern­ships in other lines of busi­ness, in­clud­ing one at the Rep­res­ent­at­ive of Ger­man In­dustry and Trade in Wash­ing­ton, D.C.

Marius en­joys travel pho­to­graphy, vis­it­ing exotic des­tin­a­tions, art in­stall­a­tions and ten­nis.

Re­search in­terest

Marius’ re­search in­terests lie within the fields of cross-­cul­tural man­age­ment, pur­pose-driven lead­er­ship, in­ter­na­tional assign­ments and their in­flu­ence on leader be­ha­vior and firm per­form­ance, in­ter­na­tional man­age­ment and the dark side of lead­er­ship.
