Position at IIB, other positions and academic career
Florian has been a research and teaching associate (prae-doc) at the Institute for International Business since October 2015. He is a CEMS MIM/MSc. graduate from WU Vienna and National University of Singapore. Before that, Florian earned his Bachelor degree at WU Vienna with an exchange semester spent in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Prior to joining the Institute for International Business, Florian has worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group for more than two years with a track record in the Financial Institutions and Industrial Goods practice areas. During his studies, he completed various internships in the consulting, banking and public sectors. During leisure time, Florian likes scuba diving, football and modern theatre.
Florian’s research interest is in the field of international corporate finance and its interplay with firms’ strategic decisions in foreign markets.
