Ute Heinrichs joined joined the Institute for International Business as a Research and Teaching Associate in September 2014. She received a M.A. in Modern East Asian Studies at the Institute of East Asian Studies (IN-EAST) of the University of Duisburg-Essen with a focus on East Asian Economic Studies/China. Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Chinese from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, during which she spent a semester abroad at the Guanghua School of Management (Peking University), China.
She gained both research and practical experience through various university research projects and internships in the banking industry.
Ute’s research interests lie in the field of international M&A activity, market entry strategies, and stock market performance.
