Rodrigo joined the Institute for International Business as a PhD Student in January 2019. He is a CEMS MIM/MSc. graduate from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna) and ESADE. Prior to that, he received a BSc in Business Administration, Economics and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Florida (UF). Rodrigo has worked across various fields in Peru, the US, and the Netherlands (most recently in impact investing and social entrepreneurship). While a student at WU, Rodrigo also worked as a research assistant for the IIB.
His research interest is focused on the behavior of international financial actors in attracting private capital to projects seeking both financial and developmental goals.
