Mag. Vinzenz Treytl

Mag. Vinzenz Treytl is a rese­arch asso­ciate at the Insti­tute for Entre­pre­neurship and Inno­va­tion. He has joined the E&I Team in 2012.

In rese­arch, he is inte­rested in open and user inno­va­tion as well as finan­cial tech­no­lo­gies. With regards to open and user inno­va­tion, his current focus is on the appli­ca­tion of crowd­sour­cing in inno­va­tion processes. In the context of finan­cial tech­no­lo­gies, he is mainly inte­rested in the disrup­tion of the banking and insurance sectors by star­t-ups (Fintechs / Insur­Techs).

Before joining the E&I Insti­tute, Vinzenz studied Busi­ness Admi­nis­tra­tion at the Vienna Univer­sity of Econo­mics and Busi­ness with majors in Entre­pre­neurship & Inno­va­tion as well as Small Busi­ness Manage­ment. Vinzenz has a profes­sional back­ground in asset manage­ment and finan­cial markets where he worked for 10 years. Other inte­rests include small busi­ness finance, busi­ness angel invest­ments and anti­qua­rian books.
