Land Consumption – Soil Sealing: Are we losing the Ground beneath our Feet

The event took place as part of the course "Nachhaltiges Management" [Sustainable Management] at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Dr. Weinberger has been a constant voice warning against excessive land consumption in Austria for many years. With around 15 meters of road per capita, 60 supermarkets per 100,000 inhabitants, 400 km² of vacant real estate, etc., Austria is unfortunately the European leader in this regard.

Following the lecture, there were numerous questions from the participants. The discussion continued - on a "smaller scale" - at the invitation of Mag. Helmut Schüller on the premises of the Catholic University Community at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
