The spectrum of research questions is broad and varies from an analysis of the accountability of outsourced enterprises to the question, in which ways “Lifestyle Cities” such as Vienna, Sydney and Copenhagen, whose identity is mainly constructed in terms of culture, education and a high quality of life, can make use of this identity for economic profiling. Environmental standards for city development projects are being explored as well as the specific work motivation of government employees and their preference of incentives, including advanced vocational training, career management or a fair work-life-balance.
