Simone Ghislandi holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, an MPhil and a DPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Public Finance from the University of Pavia.

He joined WU from the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management of the University of Bocconi. He is also a member of Centre of Health Economics and Management (CERGAS), the Carlo F. Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy, both in Bocconi, and of the International Institute of Applied System Analysis (IIASA) in Vienna.
