Small Group Advisory Meetings and Workshops

Small group advisory meetings and workshops, which take place online or hybrid, are held via Microsoft Teams. The link to access the meeting will be published on this page on the day of the webinar.
The International Office organizes small group advisory meetings and workshops to provide students with information on exchange-related topics. According to the preference of the participants, advisory meetings can be held in German or English language. Our group advisory meetings are the perfect opportunity to learn more about the application for an exchange semester or an international short program. A number of meetings also covers the process after successful nomination for an exchange.

Target group: Bachelor's students who are interested in a semester abroad or the BBE double degree program.

Workshop: Writing a motivation letter for a stay abroad
In cooperation with the WU ZBP Career Center, the International Office offers workshops on motivational letters. The workshops focus on how to structure a letter of motivation and what should be included in it. The methods and tips taught are universally applicable - for example, when applying for a job or for a semester abroad. This offer is aimed at both bachelor's and master's students.

The small group advisory meetings under the slogan "Welcome Back!" support you in your return to WU and cover the three topics: administrative matters after your semester abroad, exchange of experiences and self-reflection.

Students interested in an International Short Program (ISP) can obtain information during these sessions. At the meetings, general and specific questions about the offer of ISP programs can be asked.

Study Abroad Infosession
The Study Abroad Infosession is an information event for bachelor's students, during which the services and exchange programs of the International Office are presented. In addition, the application process for a semester abroad is discussed in detail.
