ENGAGE.EU Shared Modules

About

  • Take part in a Shared Module, organized by WU's partners in the ENGAGE.EU alliance.

  • You will be part of a virtual and international classroom. Benefit from international learning opportunities and exchange ideas with students from different countries!

  • Depending on their study cycle, students can apply for four modules on bachelor's level and six modules on master's level. Students can complete max. 2 modules in the same academic year.

  • A module consists of 2-4 courses and is worth 14-18 ECTS credits.

Modules offered and application process

For details on the offered modules , the application process, and additional information, please refer to the dedicated section on the ENGAGE.eu website. Students apply online at the respective partner university. The common application period for winter semester 2022/23 lasts from June 1 - July 1, 2023 (midnight). Successful applicants will be informed by July 21, 2023.The next application will be in June 2023. Nevertheless, courses of the modules are offered also as single online courses, so please check out the ENGAGE course catalog.

  • Application requirements:

    • Bachelor’s level courses: enrollment in a bachelor’s program at a partner university in the winter semester 2023; Ideally, you have completed one year of full time studies which amounts to 60 ECTS Credits.

    • Master’s level courses: enrollment in a master’s program at a partner university in the winter semester 2023.

Please note: in addition to these general admission requirements, single courses may also rely on specific prerequisites such as previous knowledge in the field etc.

Credit Transfer

At the end of your virtual exchange, you will receive an official transcript of records which you will need for the credit transfer process at WU. If you complete an entire module, you will also receive an ENGAGE-issued confirmation ('Supplement'). If you wish to transfer the credits you receive, please note that you need to pass the courses with a grade.
