IBW - Exchange Semester
Information for students enrolled in BaWiSo 19 (valid from October 1, 2021)
You have the possibility to fulfill the IBW international experience by successfully completing an exchange semester.
The exchange semester is considered successfully completed if the respective minimum requirement for financial aid (e.g. Erasmus+ mobility grant, WU mobility grant) is fulfilled. Information on financial aid for exchange stays can be found here.
Successful completion of the IBW international experience will automatically be entered by the International Office upon fulfillment of the minimum requirements for financial aid.
Please note: If you have not applied for financial aid, the IBW international experience will NOT be entered automatically. In this case, please use this form as soon as you have completed the recognition of your courses after the exchange semester.
Which criteria have to be fulfilled?
Positive completion of exams at a university outside of Austria and outside of the student's respective home country (citizenship). It is strongly recommended to attend a partner university of WU.
Please note the minimum requirements.
All students who have completed an exchange semester up to and including the summer semester of 2021 are required to contact Study Regulations & Credit Transfer (course.abroad@wu.ac.at) for confirmation of the IBW international experience.
