GMAT Preparation for WU Students

WU is offering a GMAT preparation course for students in the upcoming 2016/17 winter semester. A professional trainer and staff members of the OeAD International Testing Services center will provide students with the most important information on preparing for the test. The training program will take place at OeAD-Haus. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in a GMAT diagnostic exam, including an analysis of their results. This will give them a first impression of the exam and help them see where they stand before the start of the training program. The diagnostic exam will take place at OeAD International Testing Services center.

15 places for WU students are available for the preparation course. Please submit your application by email to the following address: gmat@wu.ac.at. Students in the Bachelor’s program Business, Economics and Social Sciences who have passed at least 120 ECTS credits worth of courses at the time of application are invited to apply for the course. At the end of the application period, students will be ranked according to their GPA, and the best 15 students will be accepted into the course.

In your application, please also provide your current GPA certificate (available via the WU student rankings tool) and your name and student ID number. After the application deadline you will be informed by email whether or not you have been accepted into the course. A € 50 deposit is required before participation in the preparation course (not the diagnostic exam). The deposit will be refunded upon completion of the course. No refunds will be made to those students who are accepted into the course and who do not attend without providing a valid reason. Therefore, we ask that you apply only if you really intend to complete the GMAT preparation course (both sessions). Please note the following dates for the GMAT preparation:

  • GMAT diagnostic exam: Thursday, November 3, 2016, 1:00pm to 5:30pm

  • GMAT training courses: Friday, November 11, and Saturday, November 12, 2016, 9:00am to 5:00pm

  • GMAT test date: free choice of date (one of the dates offered by OeAD International Testing Services) (website: www.mba.com)

Location:
OeAD-Haus: Ebendorferstraße 7, Saal 1, 1010 Vienna
OeAD International Testing Services: Ebendorferstraße 6/third floor, 1010 Vienna
Public transportation: Subway line U2 (station "Rathaus")

Application deadline: Friday, October 7, 2016 (email to gmat@wu.ac.at)

The first priority deadline ends on October 8, 2016.
