Making money in the service of science
We are looking for students to take part in experiments at WULABS. In these experiments, you make decisions in economic situations, such as auctions, markets, trading, product evaluation, etc. These experiments help us better understand economic activity. A typical experiment takes about an hour and is held at our computerized laboratory in Building D2 of the WU campus. In every experiment you can earn money. In most experiments the amount that you earn will depend on the decisions that you and the other participants make.
To participate, no special knowledge of economics or mathematics, or special computer skills are required. However, a good command of English or German is necessary to understand instructions.
To be invited for experiments, please register at labs.wu.ac.at. Your registration in the system is non-binding. You will then receive specific invitations by email to individual experiments. You can withdraw your registration at any time. Your data is treated confidentially and used exclusively for scientific purposes. In the email invitation for an experiment you will be informed of the available times, duration, and type of payment for the experiment. You may then register for a particular "session" of that experiment.
