Course catalog for the 2019 summer semester to go online on January 14

The course catalog (VVZ) for the upcoming 2019 summer semester will become available online on January 14, 2019. In the course catalog, you will find all the courses offered in the summer semester. You can click on each course number to view a commented entry with detailed course information. Please check the dates given in the course catalog on a regular basis because course dates and lecture rooms may be subject to change.

Do you want to learn a new language or improve your present skills? Sign up for one of our courses at WU Business Language Center!

The newly established WU Business Language Center offers language courses for Arabic, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Courses are run on a half-semester basis and consist of 30 teaching units. Thanks to small groups of no more than 20 persons and highly qualified lecturers, you can attain a full level of A1 or A2 within only one semester.

Registration opens at the beginning of February. You can register either online at or personally in the Language Resource Center.

Each course costs 279 euros, with WU students paying the discounted price of 195 euros.

Get connected: get an overview of the job market at the company stands. Talk with employers about various opportunities at their companies. Or apply right on-site and have your first interviews for actual job vacancies.

We are bringing in student organizations as well for anyone interested in getting involved and gaining experiences with student clubs. Which student organization will convince you with their pitch or during conversations at their stand?

Go international: Last chance for bachelor’s and master’s students to apply for an exchange semester during the winter semester 2019/20!

Application period: January 28 – February 1, 2019

Places in Europe and overseas are still available for both bachelor’s and master’s students – apply until February 1, 2019 noon, and spend the winter semester 2019/20 at one of our partner universities.

Become a mentor and hone vital soft skills for your career

Are you ready for a new challenge? Become a mentor in the Mentoring@WU Program. As a mentor, you will be responsible for a group of first-year bachelor’s students and help them organize their studies and settle in at university. At the same time, you will hone vital skills for your career: Being a mentor will enable you to improve your leadership skills, present for an audience, advise others, and use your creativity.
