Update on COVID-19 Measures at WU After End of Lockdown

[Translate to English:] Logo Studium

On December 2, 2020, WU’s Vice-Rector for Academic Programs and Student Affairs, Margarethe Rammerstorfer, sent you an update on the new safety measures at WU effective as of December 7, 2020.

Here’s a summary of the most important points:

  • We will continue to offer all courses remotely - until Christmas at least.

  • All three branches of our library will reopen on December 7, 2020 – you can use them for studying provided that you reserve a seat in advance.  Lending services will be available at both the Central Library and the Library for Social Sciences. You will again be able to reserve scanners in the Library for Law. For details visit our University Library website.

  • Our departments and service units will have limited opening hours. Please visit our website to learn more.

  • Project rooms, study areas, student lounges, and PC labs will remain closed.

  •

As usual, you will find the latest information on our website.

Re-Registration Deadlines for the 2021 Summer Semester

[Translate to English:] Logo Studium

To continue your studies and remain enrolled at WU, you have to re-register every semester. To do so, please pay the applicable tuition fees/ÖH dues during the admission and re-registration period (January 11, 2021 - February 5, 2021). If you only pay your fees during the subsequent extended admission period ending on April 30, 2021, your tuition fees will go up by 10 %.

If you do not re-register by the relevant deadline, you will be un-enrolled and you will no longer be able to take any exams.

Payment options: We recommend that you use online banking for paying your fees – this way, any limitations on campus, if there are any, will not be a problem.
