Would you like to start a Master's program at WU? We now accept applications for all German-taught master’s programs  for the intake in the 2023/24 winter semester. You can apply via the online application tool even if you have not finished your bachelor’s program yet (but you need a minimum of 150 ECTS credits). The application period ends on June 30, 2023.

Bachelor’s students who would like to spend a semester abroad at a partner university in Europe or overseas can apply in June 2023 for the upcoming summer semester 2024.

Application period: June 19, 2022, 2:00pm – June 23, 2022, 12:00 noon

To complete the semester with confidence, the Student Counseling Team offers a number of group activities for you:

In June, there's one more skill session to strengthen your "self-leadership", which is all about staying centered even or especially when you are stressed out by external triggers.

The topic of our peer group on June 5 is "Dealing Effectively with Insecurity and Anxiousness”. Sarah Kohlmaier will support you in finding courage and strength by sharing challenges and developing new perspectives and approaches as a community when we don’t know how to deal with an issue by ourselves.

Try out new products and "invest" fictitious money in your favorite WU startup!

At the WU Start-up Challenge, teams have the chance to present their startup project in the WU Entrepreneurship Center (next to WU Mensa) and win great prizes. You can decide who wins by investing "WUnderBares" (fictitious money you get at the WU Entrepreneurship Center).

In the finale, the teams will present their projects in front of a jury of experts who will announce the winner.
The final "WU Startup 2023" will receive 500€ - be part of it!

As part of the Changemaker Markttag 2023, we are hosting an EntrepreneursTalk, this time in the Breakfast Edition.

What is the “Changemaker Markttag”?

With the Changemaker Markttag (market day), we, the WU Entrepreneurship Center, make entrepreneurial thinking and acting come alive for elementary school children. Interest in economic contexts is awakened and the children are encouraged to participate in business and society with self-confidence through active project work. The absolute highlight is the Markttag (market day) on June 21, 2023, during which the children sell their self-made products at their own market stalls at WU.

Do you need a large screen for a project meeting with other students? Would some of the participants in the meeting like to contribute virtually?

In the WU Library you will not only find books and electronic media, but also project rooms with excellent technical equipment for your group work.

• Digital whiteboard: Using the whiteboard function you can edit the whiteboard simultaneously from multiple devices and on the big screen.

• Shared video: You can use the integrated camera for virtual meetings.

• Location & booking: While most of the collaborative project rooms are located in the Central Library, there is one room in each of the buildings D1, D2, D3 and D4 (Learn more). Book your room via Rooms.

NEW: The collaborative project rooms are now equipped with connection cables (USB-B, USB-C, HDMI), so you need not bring your own.
