Literature Research - Videos
Back with new energy from the winter break, some of you will now intensively focus on their theses. The basis of a thesis is often a literature search. In order to do this effectively and efficiently, you should think about your search strategy before you start. Equally important is the selection of a suitable search tool. Finally, you have to carry out the search.
The library now supports you with instructions for
1. preparation of the search
2. choosing the right databases
3. search in the WU catalog and
4. search in a literature database.
If you have further questions, you can also use our consultation services (search_bar, research consultation and our courses).
Students with Child(ren) Group
Creating a daily life for yourself where there is enough space for family needs as well as your studies and/or work is essential for a good quality of life.
To foster a healthy family-work-study-life balance, WU Vienna has been developing and offering services that aim at making it easier for students to balance family and university life.
Are you pregnant? Or do you already have one or more children and are studying at the same time? Then you probably know the numerous challenges that studying and being a parent can pose.
The Student Counselling Program therefore offers all students with child(ren) a moderated platform for sharing, mutual support and building a network so that you can master challenges better with each others’ support.
Please note that the event will be held in German. If you are interested in having a peer exchange group in English, please contact us at email@example.com and we will try to find a suitable option for you.
