Need-based scholarship grants
Grants for an exchange semester or internship abroad
The International Office offers various types of mobility grants and scholarships. If you have been officially nominated for an exchange semester at one of WU’s partner universities or you are interested in doing an internship abroad you have the possibility to apply for the following types of grants:
Erasmus+ grants for exchange stays in the 28 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the FYR of Macedonia, and Turkey
Joint Study grants for exchange stays at partner universities overseas, in Russia, Serbia, Montenegro and in Ukraine
CEEPUS grants for exchange stays at a CEEPUS partner university (selected partner universities in Central and Eastern Europe)
Erasmus+ grants for internships in the 28 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the FYR of Macedonia, and Turkey

Philippe de Woot Award
The Philippe de Woot Award was set up by the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium) in order to promote sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Every other year, the award is given to one or more graduates of a master's program around the world for their outstanding master's theses on CSR or the contribution of companies/organizations to sustainable development.
In 2018, the award will be given to graduates who completed their master's theses in the 2015/16 or the 2016/17 academic year.
The winner will receive € 3,000 - € 1,500 of which will go directly to him/her, while the other € 1,500 will be donated to an environmental or social project chosen by the winner.
The award ceremony will be held in March 2018 at the Université catholique de Louvain during a CSR conference.
