Research Background

Human Resource Management plays a critical, yet often underestimated role, in embedding corporate responsibility and sustainability among employees, management and executive leadership.

This research project will explore to what extent company engagement in corporate responsibility and sustainability is aligned with employee needs and expectations and what this means for the development of new HRM strategies, talent management and leadership.

Project Team

The international research study is carried out in a collaborative effort between Prof. Dr. Günter Stahl and Marlene Gruber, MSc. MIM, at WU Vienna, and Prof. Dr. Jürgen Deller and his team at Leuphana University. In addition, the research team is strongly supported by Goinger Kreis whose members are promoting societal and organizational questions from a human resource management perspective.
