Project application according to the Third Party Funding Directive
The Third-Party Funding Directive, which came into force in 2020, stipulates that projects with a contract or offer value of EUR 75,000 or more must be submitted to the Research Service before submission or offer and conclusion of contract. The Research Service reviews and advises on all aspects of project submission.
A review is also required for all applications, offers or contracts where the signature of the VR for Research is required. This applies in any case where the agreement with the funding body includes a commitment of own contributions by WU or a declaration concerning WU as a whole (e.g. "Financial Reliability" or "Legal Capacity"), or if the funding body explicitly requests this.
Depending on the type of project, the Research Service provides different forms for submitting project applications.

Please submit the forms in good time (at least two weeks before the deadline) to ensure that all requirements can be clarified in due time. You can, of course, also continue working on the content of the project proposal/offer during the review process.
