Sandra Matzinger is a research assistant at the Institute for Social Policy and the Research Institute "Economics of Inequality" at WU Vienna.
She completed the bachelor's degree "Sociology" at the Karl Franzens University Graz and the master's degree "Socioeconomics" at WU Vienna. As a research assistant at the Institute for Social Policy, she is researching on issues of poverty and social exclusion as well as questions about the social investment state.
Since September 2017, she is a member of INEQ and works on a project to determine a definition of energy poverty in Austria funded by the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection. In parallel, she composes her dissertation, which deals with European social investment strategies and teaches economics and social policy at the FH Campus Wien.
