August Österle is Associate Professor of Social Policy and Deputy Director at the Institute for Social Policy, Department of Socioeconomics, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, and Visiting Professor at Corvinus University Budapest. He was Guest Professor for International Comparative Studies at the Bremen Graduate School of Social Sciences and the HWK Institute for Advanced Study, Visiting Professor at the Institut d’Études Politiques, Sciences Po Grenoble, and Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute and at universities in Bath, London, Bratislava and Budapest.
