We are very pleased to see that you are interested in social policy. In our programs, we (a) cover the theoretical and conceptual foundations of social policy, and (b) apply these concepts to specific areas of social policy. In the recent past, these specialisations included, e.g., poverty and social exclusion, the economics of social services, health and long-term care, or social policy in Europe. It is the aim of our teaching to connect the study of basic concepts with specific social policy challenges and to strengthen analytical abilities by emphasising critical perspectives. Courses are offered in English and in German.
