Consent Data Sharing Orientation & Cultural Program

The Orientation & Cultural Program includes two day trips, one of them to Graz. We will travel to Graz by train. To be able to purchase price-reduced tickets, we are providing every participant of the Orientation & Cultural Program with a so-called ÖBB Vorteilscard. (See more at The Vorteilscard remains in each student's possession and can be used at their discretion. For the procurement of a valid Vorteilscard we need to share your name and your date of birth with ÖBB Personenverkehrs-AG.

Students who DO NOT wish to consent to sharing their data (WU affiliation, name & date of birth) with ÖBB Personenverkehrs-AG can participate in the day trip to Graz if they are holding a valid train ticket (there & back) that they need to acquire on their own. If this applies to you, please inform the Incoming Team about it as soon as possible at and we will assist you in purchasing it.

Students who do not consent to the aforementioned data-sharing and DO NOT wish to purchase a ticket on their own cannot participate in the day trip to Graz due to organizational matters.

Furthermore, we need to show your names for the guided tours through the Austrian parliament as well as the UNO. This is necessary for identification purposes only. Students who do not consent to the data-sharing can not participate in these two events. This has no effect on the rest of the program.
