Consultation on Appointment

Johannes’ research interests include theoretical as well as applied aspects of supply chain management with a focus on inventory management, risk, forecasting, pricing, global sourcing, transportation and warehousing, and environmental sustainability.

Whilst some of his research is highly theoretical in nature, seeking and encouraging dialogue and knowledge transfer with practice has opened a stream of practice-based research with a total volume in excess of €150k. Companies include global players such as Maersk shipping line, British American Tobacco, and Mondi, to name a few.

Johannes currently delivers modules in our bachelor and master programmes as well as professional education programmes. He is strongly committed to delivering learning and teaching excellence which, as he believes, is an integral part of his academic role.
