By completing a double degree program, MSc students can obtain two top-quality, internationally recognized degrees. The new agreement with the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) adds a new, attractive option to WU’s range of double degree program.

No tuition fees at the host university

The double degree program with UTS is WU’s fourth double degree option for the MSc Program in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control (SIMC). The standard duration of a double degree program is four semesters. Students complete the first year of the program at their home university and the second year at the partner university abroad. As a special advantage, tuition fees are waived for double degree program students at the host university. Double degree programs also guarantee that courses completed abroad are equivalent to the corresponding courses at WU. Under the new double degree agreement, WU students will benefit from the excellent quality of the courses taught at the UTS Business School, one of Australia’s leading economics and business universities. The UTS Business School is internationally renowned and has achieved a number of prestigious accreditations. Double degree students are fully integrated into the regular academic program at the host university. The program gives them an opportunity to establish contact to their fellow students abroad and to get in touch with businesses in the host country, allowing them to build up a network of valuable international contacts.

Double degree programs at WU

Double degree options are available for two of WU’s MSc programs: Double degree agreements have been signed with Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi for the MSc Program in Marketing and the MSc Program in Strategy, Innovation and Management Control (SIMC). SIMC double degree partnerships are also in place with the Queen’s School of Business, Canada, and St. Petersburg University. The new agreement with UTS Sydney now puts Australia on the map for WU students interested in completing a double degree program. Double degree partnerships have become a key part of WU’s master-level program portfolio – they are very popular with students and prepare graduates for successful careers in a world of global challenges.
